I’m Mike Coombes, and I wear many hats.
By day I’m a commercial designer and management consultant. By night I’m a writer, like you. I’m also former senior editor of the prestigious NFG and GUD literary magazines.
I like to think I know something about the pressures on writers, and that I know a lot about business; and after all, once you take the plunge and launch your web site, it becomes commercial - you have to pay to get your site up and running, and hopefully the site will pay back in book sales, increased exposure, etc.
...And Why?
Kissing the Frog is not a bizarre amorous overture to amphibians, but a concept I use in business and design - it’s an acknowledgement that the first idea isn’t always the best, and that, like your WIP, an idea needs work to make it the best it can be. It’s the art of making princes. You gotta kiss a lot of frogs...
It’s also the name I’ve given to my web design service aimed specifically at writers. One that, I hope, you will find to be just a little bit different.
Get in touch - it costs nothing to ask.
